He immediately put in a new order for food, personally brought it up within 10 minutes, comped our meals and got us a drink. Michael stepped up and did the right thing. Sounds like a perfect storm of business problems, but one they should have anticipated. He said all their food runners had called out that day and they had a number of patrons utilizing Groupons that were about to expire. We brought this to the attention of the manger, Michael (who is a GM in training). When it did arrive it was cold and the fries had rigor mortis setting in. We ordered food within our first five minutes (two different hamburger offerings) and it took over an hour for the food to arrive. Again, not a huge deal and they cleared out the screen and reset everything for us very promptly. Not a big deal, but when we got to our lane, it was already being used by another patron. We were told two different lane numbers by two different employees. There just didn't seem to be any urgency. It started with the check in process where they had four people manning the desk, and yet still took close to 10 minutes to check us in (we were third in line). We redeemed a Groupon at Bowlmor the other day and didn't have a great experience. Take note businesses - this review provides an example of how to save your reputation when a customer has a bad experience (or a series of them).
